  • Overview

    Under the direction of the H.R. Director and as a senior level human resources professional, advises on and participates in the planning, development, implementation and administration of human resources strategies and compensation related activities designed to attract, retain and motivate high quality personnel required to meet the company’s business objectives. Oversees the HRIS deisgn and development of several Access databases for Human Resources areas and managers to provide analytical and systems support. Responsible for the administration of the company Long-Term Incentive Plans for employees and directors.



    • Administer the annual Salary Planning in the Compensation Planning System.
    • Prepare the Comp Plng system; formatting the planning worksheets, HR reports, Manager reports, filters, letters, new user tables, guidelines, manager instructions
    • Configure the system and define calculation parameters for merit increases, lump sum, promotions and market adjustments criteria
    • Upload into system all current compensation & demographic data, assign planning managers, update salary structure ranges, drop-down box data
    • Test the system and ensure employee counts per manager are accurate
    • Train users on the Compensation Planning system
    • Assist in preparations for executive management approval with reports.
    • Upon approval, advise managers to communicate all changes to employees, export new base salaries and prepare upload worksheet into ADP, complete administration process
    • Administer the Long-Term Incentive Planning in the Compensation Planning System
    • Participate in the planning, development, and administration of the Compensation Planning system (same as above).
    • Consolidate data and prepare graphs for executive approval.
    • Prepare all grant award agreements, distribute to EEs for signature; file upon return
    • Administer and maintain all annual employee and executives’ grant awards and control all activities related to the LTI Access Database. Coordinate annual vesting of all grants for payment. Upload LTIP awards into the LTI database for eligible new hires and promoted employees outside the annual LTIP planning process.
    • Develop, maintain and modify database to provide all LTI grant balances. Prepare individual employee balance and vesting statements
    • On a regular basis, provides data such as balance reports of all LTI grant activity (e.g. vesting, forfeitures, new grants, etc.) to Accounting and Finance departments.
    • Continually assist Accounting with adhoc reports on balances all grants.
    • Responsible for calculations and payments of quarterly distributions, when applicable
    • Respond to employee questions related to their grants.
    • Manage Directors grant agreements, calculate DERs, calculate and coordinate payment of distributions. Provide Controller vesting data for preparation of Director’s Form 1099. Provide Law dept all vesting data.
    • Administer the Short-Term Incentive Planning in the Compensation Planning System
    • Participate in the planning, development, and administration of the Compensation Planning system (same as above).
    • Conduct various analyses of employee data as requested, e.g., inquiries around pay, work hours, hiring/transfers/terminations/promotions, etc.
    • Works with user groups in the HR organization to define information needs and sources. Make recommendations for and utilize HR data fields based on current and future business requirements
    • Understand system capability and run ad hoc reports from payroll system and HRB upon request
    • Prepares or supervises preparation of special reports and analyses.
    • Monitors implementation and operation of database systems.
    • Supervises input of data and ensures data integrity.
    • Advises HR personnel on design and utilization of information systems.



    Collect data and prepare EEO-1 Reports utilizing the HR Access database


    HR Support

    • Responsible for compiling, analyzing and presenting department budget for annual submittal.
    • Develop and maintain the AAP Database
    • Will provide support when needed, e.g. acquisitions and Reduction in Force.
    • Develop and maintain the RIF Terminations Access database
    • Develop and maintain the Acquisition Access database
    • Provide support to Human Resources Director, at any level, any time
    • Provide data, reports, graphs to Executives and Board books
    • Provides back-up assistance to Compensation Manager, Benefits Supervisor and H.R. Supervisor.
    • Develop and maintain companywide organizational charts



    Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

    • 8+ years of progressive Human Resource experience
    • Excellent Microsoft Access experience in development
    • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
    • Extensive experience with human resources policies, programs, and practices
    • Excellent analytical/problem solving skills

    • Must be extremely organized, self-motivated, and capable of working in a rapidly changing environment with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and HR Management systems

    • Ability to multi-task, work on multiple priorities, work independently and as a team in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
