  • Overview

    : Under the general guidance of the EVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, responsible for supervision of Land Department and Company-wide land management operations and Regulatory Affairs.


    • Overseeing all Land Department activity for the company including the pursuit of acquisitions with development and exploration opportunities
    • Conduct due diligence in asset and equity acquisitions and divestitures
    • Negotiating and drafting industry agreements in conjunction with legal counsel including oil and gas lease, extensions, term assignments and operating agreements
    • Managing third parties in relation to the drilling of new wells to ensure accurate surface and title negotiation
    • Securing title curative documents by analyzing title options and assessing curative requirements
    • Oversees the Regulatory Compliance functions, which include gathering, analyzing and reporting of various data as required by federal, State and local regulatory agencies.


    Bachelor’s degree

    • 15+ years in Land experience and the ability to manage a high volume of projects
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Oil and Gas experience required
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office System (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be able to setup and manipulate complex Excel spread sheets
